RELIGIOUS EDUCATION-Manson

RE in Manson begins with the MNW school year and ends in early May.
Grades K-7 meet one time a month, at 6-7pm, for a night of Family Formation. Each grade attends class with the catechist in their classroom, the parent session is taught by Father David.  The next 3-4 lessons are taught at home, allowing parents, who know best how their children learn, teach their children at a time that is most convenient for their family.  Parents are given all materials needed for each lesson.  Some families have included grandparents in the teaching and learning, creating family time that is cherished by all generations.

Grades 8-12 meet on all other Wednesdays, 6:30-7:45 pm, when there is no family formation.  Currently, grades 8-9 are completing their first year of Confirmation, with a proposed Confirmation date of fall 2018. Confirmation is scheduled with St. Francis, Rockwell City.

Grades 10-12 meet with the catechist and utilize programs available from our
subscription to formed.org.  The classes end with Night Prayer. Students at St. Thomas have been to Steubenville youth events, and enjoy classes scheduled at Golden Meadows and Good Samaritan Home.
